  3. I think in alot of ways SRK is reaching out to the NRI's around the world. Thats why I made the comment that I did. Those of US who are 'Hindi' impaired are left to draw our own conclusions. But in all honesty it's the way of the world. Trying to cover the globe is easier than connecting with massive fan bases on the language level. If all of the interviews and sound bites and music launches were subtitled then there might be an even chance. But as it is we are left in the dark. There has to be a way to penetrate that and if SRK can manage that one He will be the first. Over time one cannot ignore this small piece it has to be addressed sooner or later. Thinking out of the box and the world may lay waiting.

  4. these days the domestic market has become huge Margaret...Shahrukh has a massive pull overseas anyways...in the domestic market, he needs a bit of catching up to do and its not surprising that he is going all out to woo the fans in interiors of the country...the B and C centres have suddenly become a huge market...ready, singham, bodyguard and mere brother ki dulhan have set new records in the interiors...big chunk of the profits r coming from their as well....ra.one will be simultaniously dubbed in several languages, german being one of them...i m sure there will be more european languages and arabic most probably...its gonna be interesting times for the industry...

  5. That still leaves the NRI's. Geographically it seems to me that if they are part of the equation the number crunchers will have a heyday. But SRK still has to 'reach out and touch someone' whether it be german or english. He too has to step up to the plate and not just for the sake of furthering the technological aspect of making movies. That maybe a huge part but will others follow?? We dont know the answer to that question and may not for sometime. If he goes back to 'formula' movies he may lose that edge. And it will be interesting for sure.

  6. formula film is a relative term...it keeps changing with time...there will be premieres in various parts of the world...the activity on youtube is primarily for the overseas crowd...
